How is the cash-back amount calculated?

We'll automatically take the total amount of your purchase at the Family of Brands retailer and calculate the cash-back percentage you qualify for.

When you spend $100 at a Family of Brands retailer, for example, you'll qualify for a $10 cash-back rebate check.

Marketplace

How is the cash-back amount calculated?

When you fill in the claim form in the Rebate Center, we'll ask you to enter the total amount of your purchase at one of our Marketplace retailers. We'll then automatically calculate the cash-back percentage you qualify for.

When you spend $100 at one of our Marketplace retailers, for examply, you'll qualify for a $5 cash-back rebate check.

What retailers are included in the Marketplace?

We offer cash-back rebates at over 1,000 retailers through the Marketplace, but our list of retailers is subject to change at any time. To view the current list, please visit the Marketplace page.

Shipping Rebates

Are all shipping charges eligible for rebate submission?

As long as you provide the documentation needed to verify that your shipping charge comes from a purchase made at a participating retailer, you're eligible for a cash-back rebate on the shipping charge. That includes purchases made online, over the phone, and through a catalog.

In-store purchases only qualify for a shipping rebate if a participating retailer needs to order the item and then charges you for shipping it directly to your residence. Cancelled purchases, duplicate claims, and purchases made before you became an active What on Earth VIP Insider member (or made after you cancel your membership) aren't eligible for shipping rebates.

Is there a limit to how long I have to file a claim?

Yes; please be sure to submit your claims within 30 days of the purchase date.

What information do I need to send to get my shipping rebate?

To claim a shipping rebate, simply send us your order confirmation, original sales receipt, or packing slip with the price, retailer information, shipping and handling charges, and sales date.

Free Return Shipping via FedEx Ground®

What sort of savings does 'Free Return Shipping via FedEx Ground' offer?

When you shop through What on Earth VIP Insider, we've got you covered! Whether you ordered the wrong size or color, received an item that was damaged in transit, or just don't care for the item now that it's in your hands, you can ship it back for free via FedEx Ground! Better yet, we'll cover items purchased at any retailer in our Family of Brands or our Marketplace. Simply put, we'll cover your FedEx Ground return shipping charge whenever you need to return an online, phone, or catalog purchase you made through us! Be sure you always review the specific retailer's return policy to see whether it already offers free return shipping and to find out if your purchase is eligible for a refund.

How do I save on return shipping?

Just click on the 'Return Center' tab in the navigation bar, and follow the instructions provided to print out a return shipping label from FedEx Ground. Once you securely fasten your label to your return shipment, just drop it off at any FedEx location; as long as your package complies with FedEx weight and size limitations, your return shipping charge is on us!

How quickly do I have to return my purchase if I want to save on return shipping?

As a What on Earth VIP Insider member, you can return any item to any Family of Brands or Marketplace retailer at any time (and for any reason) and save on return shipping! However, if you're also hoping to get a refund or store credit on your purchase from the retailer, you'll need to make sure you follow the retailer's specific policy and procedures, including its deadlines, to qualify.

What sorts of purchases are eligible for free return shipping via FedEx Ground?

Generally speaking, you can save on return shipping for any purchase you make at our Family of Brands or Marketplace retailers, online, over the phone, or through a catalog. Certain purchases, however, may not qualify for free return shipping via FedEx Ground. For instance, if the retailer already offers free return shipping, the purchase won't be eligible for free return shipping via FedEx Ground. Also, the destination for a return shipment must be a valid commercial address in the 48 contiguous United States, so if a retailer's return address is in Hawai'i or Alaska, for example, you won't be able to ship it via FedEx Ground. Similarly, shipments sent to residential addresses, P.O. boxes, or other non-commercial locations do not qualify for savings through the program. However, if you do have to pay for return shipping, you can claim a rebate of up to $10 on your return shipping charge.

How quickly will my return shipment arrive at its destination?

FedEx Ground, the exclusive shipping carrier of What on Earth VIP Insider, will ship your package to the address on the shipping label. Just drop your shipment off at any of the more than 1,800 FedEx Office® or 5,800 FedEx Authorized ShipCenter® locations across the United States, and your package will be delivered to retailer locations in the 48 contiguous United States within 1-5 business days, depending on where you drop it off and its final destination.

How much return shipping coverage do I receive?

You and the members of your household are eligible for free return shipping on virtually any online, phone, or catalog purchase you make at our Family of Brands and Marketplace retailers. Please note that those savings apply only to FedEx Ground shipping charges.What on Earth VIP Insider does not offer savings on expedited delivery services; insurance coverage for the return shipment; any restocking or other fees that a retailer may apply; or any other services or features, such as declared value, surcharges, premiums, accessorial charges, or special handling fees for the return shipment. Please note that some retailers place shipping and other restrictions on certain products; you'll need to check the individual retailer's website to ensure that it accepts returns of your purchased product.

Also, please note that FedEx Ground does not ship any packages that exceed:

  • 150 pounds in weight;
  • 108 inches in length; and/or
  • 165 inches in length + girth.

Free return shipping via FedEx Ground is available to What on Earth VIP Insider members who reside in the 48 contiguous United States. It’s not available to subscribers who reside in Alaska or Hawai'i, nor is it available to residents of Iowa.

Return Shipping Rebates

What are 'Return Shipping Rebates'?

If for any reason you decide to return an item to any Family of Brands or Marketplace retailer, and you don't or can't ship it back for free via FedEx Ground, you're eligible for up to $10 cash back on your return shipping charge.

How do I claim a return shipping rebate?

Just click on the 'Rebate Center' tab in the navigation bar, select 'Return Shipping Rebate,' and follow the instructions provided. Please note that you need to be an active member at the time we process your claim, and that proof-of-purchase documentation and shipping information is required to process every claim.

How much time do I have to claim a return shipping rebate?

You'll need to submit your claim and all required documentation within 60 days of your original purchase to qualify for a return shipping rebate.

How soon will I get my claim paid?

We'll verify your claim and send you a check within 3-6 weeks of our receipt of your claim and the required documentation.

How much return shipping coverage do I receive?

As an active member of What on Earth VIP Insider, you can receive a rebate of up to $10 for return shipping costs per order, and you can claim up to $500 in return shipping rebates every membership year.

What are 'Discounted Gift Cards'?

As an active member of What on Earth VIP Insider, you can purchase popular gift cards at a 10% discount. We offer $25 gift cards for merchants, cinemas, gas stations, and restaurants at the discounted price of $22.50.

How can I order discounted gift cards?

It's easy to order discounted gift cards:

  • Simply click the 'Gift Card' tab in the navigation menu to see our full selection of participating merchants, restaurants, cinemas, and gas stations.
  • Choose the gift cards you'd like to purchase, and place your order right on our website. You'll need to provide your shipping information and a valid credit card number to complete your order.
  • Your gift cards will be shipped — free of charge — within 2-5 business days of our receipt of your order.
